Books I read in 2005

The following is a list of books I read this year. It wasn't such a great year for reading books, and as a copy editor now it's even harder to read in my spare time.

Anyway, this list includes the author's name and the grade I gave the book.

1. Contagion by Robin Cook (B+)
2. Off the rails in Phnom Penh: Into the dark heart of guns, girls, and ganja by Amit Gilboa (C+)
3. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (A)
4. The Death Freak by Herbert Burkholz (B)
5. Pagan Babies by Elmore Leonard (A-)
6. Swimming to Cambodia by Spalding Gray (A-)
7. Coming into Country by John McPhee (A+)
8. Digital Fortress by Dan Brown (A+)
9. Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock (A-)
10. Rough Water -- Stories of survival from the sea by various authors (A-) recorded book
11. The Secrets of Inchon by Eugene Clark (A+)
12. Rogue Regime by Jasper Becker (A+)
13. Among Whales by Roger Payne (A+)
14. P.S. I love You by Cecilia Ahern (C)
15. Hiroshima by John Hersey (B+)
16. Crisis on the Korean Peninsula (B)
17. Vanishing Point by Morris West (A-)
18. War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells (A)

2004 was a better year for reading books, though I finished writing one in 2005. Maybe 2006 will be a year for both. I like to think so.
